We are delighted to announce that Notcutts Garden Centres have awarded Pelican Procurement Services a two-year contract extension to manage their food and non-food procurement and supply chain requirements. The extension builds on six years of collaboration between Notcutts and Pelican.
An investment in garden centre F&B
Notcutts are a thriving business with 18 garden centres across the UK. The company has made a commitment to invest in all of its restaurants and food outlets over the coming months and years. With a garden centre visit becoming more of a leisure experience than simply a shopping trip for gardening needs, a strong restaurant with a great food and beverage mix has become an increasingly important part of Notcutts’ customer offering.
Kevin J Boyle, Food and Beverage Director, Notcutts Garden Centres:
“Pelican has become a very useful and strategic partner and the Pelican team really does feel like an extension to our business. Our account contact, Stuart Chapman (Pelican Client Procurement Manager) has become a key part of our team – his expertise and support is a great bolt-on to help us with decision making. Stuart monitors product quality and supplier service levels, helping us to secure the best price for all products we buy, manage any price increases and gather market information so we can make better-informed decisions.
Franco Scanella, MD at Pelican commented:
“We are delighted and proud that Notcutts has placed their continued faith in Stuart and the Pelican team. We’re committed to continuing to manage Notcutts’ procurement and supply chain requirements, as well as supporting the Notcutts’ team in achieving their business goals and improving their food outlets.”
